If you look forward to Christmas lights all year long then you must go see the Dragon Lights Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival. These lights are a wonder to behold and make for a truly magical experience. The display is made up of 40 larger than life lanterns that will make you stop and stare. This year they have added some really fun new interactive pieces. There is a stunning elephant that changes color as you pedal the bike. You can swing in giant glowing swings and you can even try on costumes from different Chinese Dynasties.
We took the family to opening night and it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The lights were breathtaking as always and the shows were captivating. My kids LOVE the Face Changer dance and the acrobatics were awe inspiring (juggle a table, what?). You can see all kinds of amazing performers and watch artisans create traditional Chinese crafts.
