When the colder temperatures hit all I want to do it curl up in a cozy sweater, it tends to make my wardrobe pretty one dimensional. This year I have been breathing new life into my sweater collection by finding new ways to wear them and by adding new ones. NorthStyle is a brand I had never heard of until recently when they reached out and asked me to style some clothes for them, of course I was happy to oblige. When I saw the Cotton Acid-Wash Cable Sweater I knew it would be a great addition to my wardrobe plus an acid wash sweater, how fun!
This sweater is 100% cotton which is great for moms and the acid wash look really makes it stand out from a basic cableknit sweater. It also has a high low hem adding that extra coverage we all like in back. I added this vibrant southwest infinity scarf to make this sweater really pop. This scarf is a nice light material so it doesn’t add a lot of bulk just some fun style. Adding a scarf to a sweater can create a whole new look, you just need to vary the weight and texture so you don’t just look bulky.
Acid-wash immediately makes me think 90’s and so of course the denim had to be distressed. I went with a darker wash , but not too dark, to make sure there was contrast between the sweater and jeans. When I wear lighter blue tops I do struggle with the color of my jeans but these turned out great together. And to keep it fun I wore some chunky moto boots. This outfit is so comfy and it is perfect for all my mom activities. You can find this unique sweater and scarf at NorthStyle.com
They also have some super cute plaid duck boots on sale that I have my eye on, so be sure to do some browsing!
