It’s spring and I am unashamedly wearing leather, if you had this leather jacket you would be doing the same thing! The weather here in Ohio seems to be having some kind of emotional issues as it is up and down and all over the place but for once I do not care. These temperatures in the 50’s mean I MUST wear my new lightweight leather scuba jacket from Wilson’s leather.
Since this beauty arrived I have been obsessed with finding ways to wear it so of course Sunday morning arrived chilly and I was happy! I knew my burgundy blouse would really pop with the distressed black leather and I loved the idea of it hanging out below for some fun interest. Of course I needed a fitted pant, so as not to look frumpy, and since I was going to church that rules out jeans. I chose these smoky gray ponte knit pants and finished off the look with some great wedge sandals, it is spring so I needed to at least pretend it was a new season!
WHAT I WORE:
- Black Rivet Lightweight Double Zip Leather Scuba w/Fold Collar from Wilson’s Leather (ON SALE)
- Apt 9 Crepe roll tab blouse from Kohl’s
- Simply Vera Wang Twill leggings from Kohl’s
- Silver chain necklace from Lands’ End
- Ranea Monique wedge sandal from Clarks USA
This jacket is so versatile it even looks great with a graphic tee like my Blogger Life Tee! So go forth and wear leather in spring without fear!
