Fringe is really on trend right now and most of it comes on pieces that just don’t fit my style. I always tell people don’t wear something just because it is trendy, it has to fit you and your style. What you wear is a message to the world so be sure you stand behind the message you are sending. So imagine my surprise when I fell in love with this super soft blanket cardigan from Anthropologie only to notice the fringe at the bottom when trying it on. So I have joined the throngs of fringe wearing fashionistas, but really it wasn’t the fringe that made me love this piece it is the fact that is feels like a super soft fuzzy blanket and looks great all at the same time. This was a splurge gift to myself while in New York on a brand trip for Johnson & Johnson we had just finished touring Google and the YouTube labs and had some free time in Chelsea Market, I couldn’t resist!
How are you feeling about fringe this season?
What I Wore:
- Elise Blanket Cardigan from Anthropologie
- Dressy Tee from That Chic Mom Tees on Etsy
- Blank Denim distressed skinny jeans from ShopBop
- Born Marietta Boot in black
- Mialisia necklace
So speaking of skinny jeans I have been doing great sticking with my working out and now I am moving on to trying to eat healthier ( as I munch on some candy hearts oops). So Andrea and I decided to focus on fitness for our February Real Mom Style Challenge on Instagram, check it out and be sure to play along because one lucky participant will receive a pair of Jabra Step Bluetooth earbuds, you want them trust me.
Also EXCITING NEWS I opened an Etsy shop and now my shirts are being printed locally and it is all so fantastic so go buy a shirt… please!
