- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups flour
( for baking soda water bath) 2 cups warm water 2 tablespoons baking soda

Prepare a baking soda bath with baking soda and 2 cups warm water while dough is rising, stir often. When dough is risen roll out and flatten with a rolling pin then use a star shaped cookie cutter to cut stars out of the dough. Dip each piece in baking soda bath and assemble on greased baking sheet. Allow pretzels to rise again for approximately 10 minutes. Bake at 450 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and add salt to taste and ENJOY!
