The other night I had the pleasure of meeting with some representatives of Kroger and Shell to learn about their new collaboration to bring us, the consumers, a better Fuel Rewards program. So here is the deal beginning May 1 you can redeem your Fuel Rewards at Shell Gas Stations in the Central Ohio area! I am so excited about this new collaboration because there are not many Kroger or Turkey Hill gas stations near me, but there are lots of Shell stations. So here is how it will work, in Central Ohio every Shell gas station will redeem your Fuel Points ( there is 1 Shell station at Polaris Parkway that will be about 1 month behind due to equipment upgrade). No longer will you have to wait until the next month to use your rewards they will now be instant and you can redeem them right away. More good news… you can now earn up to $1 off your fuel! So here is a recap of the new changes!
2. Points: $1 = 1 point and 100 points = $.10 off at the pump
3. Earn points on all your groceries at Kroger and Turkey Hill Stores plus get double points on gift card purchases.
4. Earn 50 points for filling prescriptions at Kroger regardless of the price of the prescription.
5. Your points are good through the end of the following month so you have plenty of time to use them, plus you have the option to use your points or save them every time you go to the pump.
I am very excited about this new program since I will be able to take advantage of my fuel rewards more often as opposed to them going to waste since I do not have a convenient gas station. Redeeming your rewards at Shell is very easy, I even tried it out the other night. You simply slide your card in the credit card slot and follow the prompts. Only have a key chain card? That’s ok you can type in the numbers and it will still work just fine. I hope you are as excited as I am about this great new collaboration, if you are concerned about whether a Shell station near you accepts Kroger rewards look for the great big signs or you can go HERE to search for participating Shell stations!
