Jabra Sport Pace – A Runners Best Friend

My husband is a runner.

About 5 years ago he took control of his health and began running on a daily basis. Music is important to my husband so having a great set of earbuds that is well suited for running is important to him because while he runs daily the truth is he does not enjoy it. He does enjoy music though so he must have great earbuds to deliver uninterrupted music for his runs. The Jabra Sport Pace was made with runners in mind.  These earbuds are super easy to pair, just like all Jabra products, and they offer a great fit for activity. The Jabra Sport Pace comes with 3 earbud options and you can tighten the cord around your head to make it a snug fit. That is something I have come to love about this brand, the bluetooth pairing is so easy even I can do it and you can be assured of a great fit.

So why are the Jabra Sport Pace better than other earbuds on the market?

This post is written in partnership with Verizon, all opinions are my own.

I have been active all my life, I grew up in a family that valued sports and fitness and I want my girls to feel the same way. I want them to see exercise as a fun lifestyle choice not a burden or a chore. This past weekend I participated in my first run/walk event the Daisy Dash. This event is for mothers and daughters and sponsored by American Girl and Verizon Moto Z. I took my oldest two girls and we had a fabulous time. We laughed and we talked as we walked our 1.5 miles in the 90 degree heat. It was wonderful to spend that time with them, being active and just bonding.

Toyota Camry XSE – A Great Family Car

toyota camry

Our family is big but that doesn’t mean I can’t remember the days when we could all fit in a regular sedan. With the ages of my kids we are often going in two different directions and that means many days I have the 3 oldest with me only. The perfect number to fit comfortably in the Toyota Camry XSE. I had this car for a week and I was really sad to see it go. My two littles loved running our errands in the cute blue car and my big kids loved it too.

Keeping My Kids Safe on the Internet with Net Nanny

The following is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.

Internet safety is a really big deal.

Did you know that teens spend an average of 9 hours a day online and tweens an average of 6 hours a day online? That is a lot of time to be exposed to inappropriate content.

Internet safety for kids is something we hear a lot of talk about and quite frankly it can be overwhelming. How are we parents supposed to monitor our kids online when they can be online anywhere?  With access to free WiFi everywhere we turn that task of monitoring our child’s online presence becomes impossible and just too much. Instead of giving up you need to find the right tools to help and parental controls for the internet can help.

My kids are still young and we have been able to really monitor and oversee all internet usage, but those days are quickly ending. This past year my daughter had a research project and I sat with her as she researched to monitor the sites she visited and steer her clear of any questionable websites. I can not sit with my kids while they do research all the time, it is too much. I need to be able to give them access to the safe things and keep them away from the bad on the internet.

There are lots of products to help you monitor the internet for your kids and I finally found the one that meets all of my needs. It’s called Net Nanny. Net Nanny not only filters the internet according to your settings they also offer a social media filtering program.
