Summer is quickly approaching and that means we need to discus swimwear, an often touchy subject for women of all ages but especially when we get over 30. As someone who makes her fashion decisions based on modesty, finding a swimsuit that I feel comfortable in and is flattering can be really tricky.
For years I was a competitive swimmer so I just stuck with my various team suits and then I had kids and my body changed and finding a swimsuit that felt mom enough yet stylish enough became really hard. When I take my kids to the pool I am not looking to be sexy, but don’t make me a bag lady either, you know what I mean?
Hapari is one swimsuit shop where I have had great luck finding flattering swimsuits that are appropriate and stylish. My favorite silhouettes is the bandeau tankini with a swim skirt. For me the two piece is convenient and the straight across top means I don’t have to worry about too much cleavage showing. One of my favorite things about Hapari is once you find the print you like then you have a multitude of silhouettes to choose from and several bottom choices as well, they even have tummy tucker shorts that are very retro and super cute!
This year I chose this fun black, white and yellow print and I can not wait to hit the pool and soak up some sun. Who am I kidding I will not be relaxing poolside, I will be chasing 5 kids and nervously watching all of them at once! Regardless I will look cute doing it. Here are a bunch of other swimsuits from Hapari that caught my eye as stylish and fun choices!
