What I Wore Real Mom Style Vol.9 #realmomstyle

This week I am proving my loyalty to the blazer as my new found best friend for Spring especially since Ohio’s version of Spring includes snow ( not pleased about this) But first I wanted to share a photo from our family outing to COSI the Center of Science and Industry to prove yes I really dress like this on a daily basis to do day to day things with 4 kids!

Now for my other outfit, I went BLUE! I have mentioned that blue is slowly becoming my new black, and I wear A LOT of black, so it is no surprise that I went all blue with this outfit. Everything is knit making this an extremely comfortable outfit perfect for life with 4 kids!

What I Wore:

  • Old Navy knit blazer
  • Mossimos cobalt blue sweater from Target
  • White Tank top – Target
  • Necklace Ann Taylor Loft
  • Old Navy Rockstar jeans
  • MUPS cobalt blue flats

This post is about real moms who have real style. While we all fall into the jeans and t-shirt rut we are encouraging our fellow moms to take the time to dress their best and rock it like the rock star moms they are! Did you look especially good this week, were the other moms at the playground complimenting your outfit? Share the look that worked for both potty training, the playground and coffee with a friend and let’s inspire each other with some real mom fashion!

We are in the throws of our Spring Fashion Event and have so many great outfits to show you plus lots of giveaways so be sure to browse around!

  1. I Love your Blog! You look Great and you are Rocking that Blue! It is so nice to read a Blog about a Real Mom like me, except you are making much better Fashion choices then me! But it’s very helpful to see how you pull a look together and how well it works! It shows me how I too can look and feel better! Thanks Tara

  2. I love that knit blazer. What brand is your tank top? I looked all over at Target yesterday for some cami’s to wear underneath my shirts (easier for nursing) and nothing buy lace and built in bras (which do should not be allowed for anyone wearing a DD). You always look great Ellen! πŸ™‚

  3. You look great! Wish I had your jeans/genes lol. Love the style post, thanks for sharing. I am a boots and jeans girl myself!

  4. All I can say is you must make so many women envious after 4 children and looking like you’ve never had one. You look fabulous in all your clothing. Love those boots you wore

  5. Love the blazer with long necklace! I’m always hesitant to wear a longer length necklace but I think the blazer gives it a perfect structure.
